Congratulations to Iris Anne Lewis who will be reading at this year’s ‘East meets West’ themed Cheltenham Literature Festival.
Her story ‘Call me Shadi, Muna, Nasima…’ is one of the runners up in the Gloucestershire Writers Network competition run in conjunction with the festival. She will be reading her story alongside the other
prizewinners on Sunday October 7th. The event will also feature readings from prose judge, Kim Fleet, an award-winning short story writer and novelist. Anna Saunders, the poetry judge, has several published collections. She is also the CEO and founder of the Cheltenham Poetry Festival.
Please do come along to listen to Kim, Anna and all the successful writers at GWN’s prizewinning event (L088) at The Times and The Sunday Times Literature Festival – 6.30pm – 7.45pm in The Nook on Sunday 7th October.
Last year the event sold out three weeks in advance so make sure that you book ahead here:
